trans 3:1624 June 09

The gospel according to trans: word spread among the people in the land of internet communications that a week in the seventh month, when the sun is reputedly high in the sky and the people basked in its warm glow, would bring beautiful sounds of experimental electronics and indie-pop and punk to the people of Belfast. The people wanted to hear all the sounds but were afraid that such pleasure would leave their pockets empty and forlorn.

But then the answer came! You can see Telepathe, Ebony Bones and FM Belfast play the Waterfront Penthouse Bar for a special, low price of £16 – a saving of five gold coins.

This special offer is only available to e-mail subscribers and our friends on twitter and facebook

To find out the password, join our facebook group ‘What Is trans?’, our mailing list or DM us on twitter.

To book your ticket contact Box Office on 028 90 334455 and ask for ‘Trans 3:16’. Tickets also available online here

This offer is only available until SUNDAY. Don’t miss out!

Do You Remember The First Time?23 June 09

When the Ulster Hall reopened again this March, the event that stands out in everyone’s mind is Do You Remember the First Time. It began with an idea – the bands from Northen Ireland should get together and perform songs from the standout gigs they attended at the Ulster Hall. That idea snowballed as acts like Therapy?, Snow Patrol, Ash and Neil Hannon were added to a list of upcoming local bands like ASIWYFA, Panama Kings and Lowly Knights.

To remember the first time, we are gathering as many images as possible taken over the course of the night and exhibiting them in the Ulster Hall Group Space.

WE NEED YOU! to send in any good pictures you have of the night! bit like the ones below!

send them to info@transbelfast.com with you pictures, full name and details
