trans 360 - New for 2008

Following on from the success of the U-mag last year, we are proud to announce the establishment of trans 360 for Urban 2008.

This summer our Photography, Journalism, Grahic Design, TV Production, Radio Production, and Gig Promotion students will form the trans 360 team.

Reflceting the trends of modern media, the Urban Arts Academy will be bring students from these courses together to deliver a more encompassing presence in print, film, audio and web content and we need your help.

Similarly to all Urban courses, students will not only learn new skills but have the opportunity to put them into practice and build up their own portfollio of work.  Adding to the U-mag and trans radio this year we will have continual updates of photos, podcasts, blogs and films at transbelfast.com and even our own tv show thanks to NVTV and the trans tv course.

Finally the other new course in the 360 section is Gig Promotion, where students will be using their new skills to actively promote our event programme.

In short, the direction, look, promotion and image of the whole Urban/trans project will depend on our 360 students. You'll need to have the full four weeks free but it'll be well worth it.
