Jon’s style is hard to describe – there are elements of funk, soul and hip hop, always a beat and definitely intent to get you grooving. Playing with his new, live band, expect good music and dancing.

Balkan Alien Sound (Derry)
Balkan Alien Sound specialise in the folk and gypsy music of Eastern Europe and the Balkan regions. Upbeat rhythms and odd time signatures are a key part of the bands sound providing fast and furious melodies demanding to be danced to.

Trenton and Free Radical (Johannesburg)
Trenton and Free Radical is a London based afro-beat/ Reggae/hip hop group with three members originally from Africa. Trenton is considered one of the pioneers of the news wave African music scene while other members of the band have worked with Roots Manuva and Killa Kella.

Liverpool Sound City
